We treated my wife's Australian brother to a quick trip to Vegas. We are not much for gambling but enjoy the "Vegas Vibe" and the occasional show. This time, it was more about sightseeing and the Grand Canyon, but I think he got the picture! Please check out our other videos, and stay tuned for our recent Polar Arctic Aventure Tromso to Reykjavik!
As we prepare for our next journey, I thought I would upload this little tour of the urban wildlife in our Texas neighborhood. While some of the pictures are from the internet, I promise that we have seen each and every one of these animals up close and personally! It's just that sometimes you want to take a picture... and sometimes you definitely want to keep your eyes and full awareness 100% on the animal as they, hopefully, trot on by!
We tried out a Hilton Grand Vacations Club timeshare hotel in Las Vegas. What did we think, and what's the deal? Watch this short video to find out what we thought about the whole thing! These are our opinions only.
Admittedly, those opinions are based primarily on how we prefer to travel, and our opinions are molded by our experiences, thoughts, and ideas. Of course, and rightly so, your preferences, opinions, experiences, thoughts, ideas, and mileage may vary.
Join us as we check out the South Rim of the Grand Canyon!
Getting Our Kicks on Route 66 in Seligman, Arizona! This short video started as a piece on Seligman, Arizona, but morphed into more of a bit on Route 66, the iconic Mother Road of the USA, as I dug into the history of that highway. My hometown of Bloomington, Illinois, was located on old Route 66. Still, as kids growing up in the 50s and 60s, we hardly noticed when it was decommissioned in 1985 and was functionally replaced by Interstates 55 and 39 in 1979 and 1986, respectively.
An overnight trip to San Antonio, Texas. We give my brother-in-law a quick glimpse into Texas history and a bit of urban fun! We visit the iconic Alamo and the San Antonio Riverwalk Check out some of our other content and stay tuned for more travel videos coming soon!
Here is a short video on our visit to the Fort Worth Stock Yards, a Nationally Registered Historic District in Fort Worth, Texas. See why this 300-hundred-acre slice of Texas history welcomes over 3,000,000 visitors yearly and why we keep returning! Y'all come on down and see for yourself why so many visit and stay for a while every year! Watch for more short videos coming soon! And please check out our growing library of cruise VLOGs and other content, with more coming soon.
This is a little bonus from our June 2023 Silversea cruise from London, England, to Reykjavik, Iceland. Available in our 5-Part series @tscruiseandtravelmuse , please take a Look, Like, Subscribe, and Ring That Notification Bell!

We indulge in a quick overnight stay at a luxury Texas ranch near Canton, Texas. We recently had the opportunity to preview a ranch location in Texas that is being restaged as a luxurious Airbnb vacation property. This 400-acre property offers a beautiful and comfortable setting for enjoying the wide-open East Texas countryside. Once the project is complete, it will accommodate anything from couples to families, large and small, to full-blown corporate retreats!
