Recording the Adventure!
I am posting pictures and videos, both on this website and on YouTube. I will transfer some of my old prints to digital and post them here as time allows.
I have been fascinated with photography and film since an early age. I even turned my closet into a darkroom when I was a kid. Later 8mm film captured my imagination, quickly followed by video media.
Over the years, I have had some very nice cameras (Olympus, Minolta, and Sony for the stills and Sony Pro for the video). But as I'm getting older, I've gotten a bit lazier (or smarter, depending on your point of view).
I've found that the Apple iPhone can acquire beautiful images and videos with great quality. Currently, I use my iPhone 13 Pro with a stabilizer (DJI) to acquire photos and video.

My wife is from China. Her mother still lives there. What more can I say?

We have been to Japan several times for work and vacation, and it always satisfies and leaves us wanting more :-) It is a fascinating land that is full of beautiful people and scenery.
